Our Company

Ja Lan Tiong Pte Ltd started out in 1972 from its humble origins as a small provision shop along Jalan Tiong Road in the Redhill area, by its late founder, Mr Choo Kam Lim.

Over the years, the family-run business has evolved with the market and grown briskly under the charge of the 2nd generation Chew family.

From a small provision shop to a leading biscuits and snacks distributor

Today, the company has become a leading distributor specialising in biscuits and snacks in Singapore. We now operate a sizeable corporate office and warehouse space in Jurong and have built an established sales and marketing team to service the needs of our customers and business partners.

With more than 40 years of experience in the trade, we have expanded and established strong business networks to help leading brands advance their market position and strengthen their market presence in Singapore.

Our key partners include internationally recognised biscuit manufacturer, Hup Seng, whom we have been appointed as Sole Distributor for the Singapore market for the past 30 years.

In the recent decade, we have also sealed exclusive distributor rights with rising snack brand, Snek Ku

We are constantly forging new partnerships with manufacturers from all over the world so that our customers can enjoy greater offerings. Other brands we represent include Phaner, a Chocolate Pie brand, and GPR, which is well-known for Homemade Butter Cookies.

Besides being the Sole Distributor for these popular brands, Ja Lan Tiong also markets its very own Chewly brand, which boasts a wide selection of quality cookies for festive celebrations. Chewly has also been consistently ranked one of the top-selling brands of Chinese New Year cookies in all Supermarkets and Hypermarkets in Singapore.

Our other house brands are Amone which consists of tin biscuits and wafer rolls, and BisQ which packs traditional snacks and crackers in smaller bags.
